Morgan & Worth Millinery

At Morgan & Worth Millinery, hours of design and attention to detail go into crafting each individual hat. All our pieces are hand-sewn and the majority of our hats are hand-blocked in house. There is always an emphasis on the individual as well as a nod to the past. We also try to collect the history of the material your hat was made with so we can share its story with you.

Kelly Morgan

I’m Kelly Morgan, milliner and founder of Morgan & Worth Millinery. It all started when I was a little girl, hair of blonde, and the world was mine as long as I had something I could draw with. One sunny day my mother found me drawing lemons on the back of a paper plate. I then transformed that plate into a summer hat after fashioning a matching ribbon to it. My very first hat. Somewhere in a drawer is a Polaroid documenting the event. I had no idea that some twenty years later I would be on a path that would lead me to start my own millinery business.

I received my millinery training while studying Costume and Performance Design at the Arts University Bournemouth. There I realised the pinnacle of my interests lies in the history and psychology of dress and, of course, hats. In addition to making hats, I’m passionate about corsetry and making tailored corsets.
